Changes to BuddyTV Commenting System

As you've probably noticed, comments on BuddyTV articles get automatically fed into a thread in the forums. Now, we've updated out site so that all comments on articles, profiles and quizzes will count toward your overall post counts, so you'll get credit for all comments and posts you make on the entire site.

In addition, we are slowly changing the site so that you must be logged in with your BuddyTV ID in order to post a comment. This means that soon, anonymous comments will not be allowed.

Hope this clears up any confusion!

Wonderful, i don't like commenting on the anonymous or having discussions with them because you can't tell one reply from another...this will change that

I really like that idea about having to log it AND the post count thing.

Good news about anonymous comments! While it may alienate the casual reader, it makes us tighter as a community.
