Star Points & TVj

Hello Members,

In case you are unfamiliar with our "Star Points" and "TVj" be sure to checkout the info I have posted below.

Starpoints:

What are Star Points?
Star Points are earned by users when they help build and strengthen the BuddyTV community for all users. Users with more Star Points gain recognition and privileges such as custom user icons for different levels which will be forthcoming. Users earn Star Points for such community building activities as:

-reading articles
-playing the BuddyTV Guess the Celebrity game
-playing the TV Quiz game
-rating TV shows and celebrities
-adding a picture, favorite show or favorite actor to your profile
-adding buddies
-joining groups
-starting a TVj session
-referring friends
-commenting on profiles or articles

TVj:

*Ever wanted to discuss or gossip with other fans of your favorite show
while a show is going on?
*Ever joined a chat room while watching your favorite show only to be
turned off because there were too many comments flying by or someone
begins to flame the chat session?
*Ever wanted a chat session to be more dynamic with audio, video, text,
and polls?

Now you can with BuddyTV's TVj application. You can start your own
session and invite others to join you. The person who starts the session
is the de facto moderator who eliminates spam and selects which comments
from all the users to publish to the entire group. The TVj can use a
webcam to broadcast their picture and / or a microphone for voice too.
And if you have a good friend who wants to help out, they can become
your co-TVj or you can just open it up to everyone in Open Chat mode.
All session can be published and / or saved in your MySpace, Facebook,
or personal webpages too. It's up to you to invite friends and begin to
form audience members.

Meimei had a really nice TVj session with Supernatural yesterday that she was kind enough to let me join
