America's Next Top Model: Episode 10.11 Best and Worst Photos

Well, I am shocked. Shocked, I say! Yet somehow I am also simultaneously not surprised.

On last night’s America’s Next Top Model, Katarzyna was eliminated. Her photo really wasn’t that great, but her overall work did seem like it should have carried her through. Also, she actually looks like a model who could get work, was able to talk intelligently, and carried herself with some dignity. This could have been her fatal error: as Tyra Banks said on the last episode, sometimes, you have to be corny in fashion.

And I think on America’s Next Top Model, the corollary to that is: you sometimes have to be a doofus and/or cry. Katarzyna, with all that composure, seemed to find it unnecessary to fall out of buses, refer to herself in the third person, trot out black friends as evidence of not being racist and/or weep often, so let’s face it: she kind of had to go. It’s Tyra’s world and she makes the rules.

But this is my article and here I make the rules as to who I rate Best and Worst. And this week, I have not one but TWO! shocking! Bests! Get a hat and hold on to it!

Tyra will NEVER, ever get a photography gig outside of her own show. French Vogue, you're kidding! The way the other judges were gushing over her pix must mean they're hard up for a job, or that they were instructed to do so in order to validate the shoot. Her first time using artificial light? OMG, send out a press release!

Poor outstanding beautiful girl.s..they do not make it too far in Tyraland...Eva was the only true beauty to become a winner....all other winners were girls who should have been third or so....but then a real true winner might just mess up the reality of the show....too bad that Kat is gone...too bad indeed.

i am sick of fatima always wanting ppl to feel sorry because she was cir!@#!@sized....get over it. althought i think she may win with her being all coy and so on.

in that shot, i think KAT eyes looks dead right? like saleisha last season, always have that dead eyes. but then, compare her portfolio with others, i think she stands out. but i guess, again, KAT last of personalities. and the judges do not like that so much. i like KAT, can't believe she stop here in the show.

I enjoyed your critique this week Leslie. I totally agree with your assessment on Tyra. I thought it was hilarious though when she started her introducted at elimination with "bonne soir"....and then realized she was speaking the wrong language!
