America's Next Top Model: Jaslene Gonzalez Spotted in Runway Show

It's no secret: America's Next Top Model is a fast-track to a fame of sorts, but for many, it's mainly the fame of being known as “that girl from America's Next Top Model.” It's debatable if it helps in the slightest with an actual modeling career, and as some former contestants recently told us here at BuddyTV, some of the modelettes actually think it's a hindrance to starting a solid high-fashion modeling career.

But if Jaslene Gonzalez wasn't going to let not getting cast for Cycle 7 stop her from coming back to win Cycle 8, one can suspect she's not going to let her America's Next Top Model fame impede her progress to actually become a working model. She is, after all, the Cha Cha Diva.

And a recent appearance shows she might just be making headway into the edgier side of fashion that gives young models and designers the kind of credibility that can help offset the reality television experience. She is pretty, not conventional. She's suppose to be skinny to be a supermodel! I'm glad she won. I'm tired of seeing the same old "girl next door" look. I wish her all the best!

I love Jas!!! Yes she does have a distintive chin but I don't think she looked manly. Because of her latin heritage, features, her hair, skin, eyes, and her youthful look, she has longevity and her body - she will work because of her body - believe that! That girl has the body that "TOP" fashion models wish they had. You go Jas!!!!!!

hi,jaslene goes soo hard dat mii girl and i was mad cuz dey did choose her in cycle 7,but im rele happy she got chose this time,and i love her accent

and when she said :[[im not your girl next door but im ya girl down the block in your neighbor hood]]

it sounded so cute

and she izz the true latina spice and beauty now thats a true cover girl

yeah girl get it and u betta make that money

i love to sing,dance,and model but im mostly very passionate bout singing,and modeling

to me i think it would be very easy in americas next top model,and i would not cry
