We all have our favorites and opinions about the models, but it is the experts on the panel that do look at each girl through their professional eyes, and they do know the business from the inside and not just spectators as we, the audience are. AND, anyone who has the audacity to call Tyra ...fat, I say....you should be so lucky to look like her!

Tyra,....if you've read any of my posts you've seen how much I respect and admire you as a compassionate person, as well as THE OUTSTANDING SUPERMODEL OF THE LAST 20 YEARS. (I LOVE TWIGGY AND EVERYONE KNOWS SHE WAS THE WORLD'S TRULY 1ST SUPERMODEL). I've been reading here about Saliesha having known you or met you at your camp (? not sure what they're referring to here) but it would be sad to have a stigma against your show because of some miscommunication about this. Speaking for myself, I wanted Saliesha to win too, as her photo shoot at the great wall blew me away, and she owned the RUNWAY IN THE END. Fabulous girl. I don't know what I'm trying to say here, except I love the show so much that I hope nothing will taint it in anyway as far as being totally unbiased in the choosing of the next winner. LOVE YOU ALL ON THE SHOW.

Sorry for this but I have to say that choosing Jaslene over Renee was like choosing a sandwich at a banquet. I just didn't get this one, and I don't think I ever will. Different strokes for different folks, I guess....and I don't mean to put her down, it's just that.....I guess, it is, what it is....with all the beautiful and talented girls in that contest....NO WAY....sorry.

Sorry, I am mixing up the cycle winners...I've been watching all the re-runs of the show, so in a previous post, I guess cycle 6 had Danielle as the winner, and Renee the runner-up...is this right? Then, it was cycle 7 that Jaslene won over Natasha, ...is this right? I hope they run all the old shows again, so I can get this straight! In cycle 6 it was a tough call and I wish they both could have one. But cycle 7 was just a real letdown when Jaslene won. There's just nothing feminine about her, her jaw structure (like a man), her body is too stick like, and she needs to take speaking lessons. T

I just want to add, I don't mean to sound so harsh, and she is probably a very sweet person, but come on, this was a beauty contest and a top model contest......if they interviewed thousands of girls to wind up with 30 picks to start off, I don't see where she fit in...even from the beginning. Every girl in that contest had it over her.....so why the judges choose her is a real mystery. Sorry.

If cycle 8 was America's Next Top MALE Model, then Jaslene would have won hands down. That's why she wowed the judges with the photo shoots when she was dressed as a man...so very believeable....as a woman model...not believeable at all. And if the truth be admitted, all you judges know it too. This poor decision to vote her #1 has disillusioned me and I'll bet at least 95% of the audience feels like I do. THAT CHOICE WAS AN INSULT TO THE AUDIENCE'S INTELLIGENCE. No one's perfect, and even such qualified judges as yourselves (and I really believe you all are) can ZiG when you should have ZAGGED. Jaslene looks like a drag queen, and not a good one at that. PERIOD. END OF STORY.

It's beginning to look like America's Next Top Model is turning into the perfect venue for girls that Tyra has previously known, or been friends with, to have an opportunity for their "15 MINUTES OF FAME." What a shame for a show that started out so great. And the irony is, it looks like alot of the candidates that were dropped are the ones getting the REAL MODELING JOBS, traveling to Paris, London, and other countries....which goes to show, you can't hide the real models and the real talent under a basket....THE TRUTH WILL ALWAYS OUT! In the end, it's the agencies who'll let the world know who the real models are!

The cloudy situations surrounding the show have put a damper on it, for me. I don't believe in it anymore.
