I taped the finale of AI on my dvr because I was at work. I got home only to find out that the show ended with Ryan Seacrest saying and the next American Idol is......... nothing tape ended. So, I didn't see the announcement. Didn't see DC's reaction, and didn't see the winning song writer's song either. AI needs to cut out some of the extra cr@p and end the show on time.

For once the person I wanted to go all the way did david cook is American Idol's freakin' savior! good job on voting guys!

Congratulations to all my fellow David Cook Lovers!! I nearly ripped my throat out when I heard Ryan say 'David Cook'!!! Of course, a heart-felt congratulation also goes to Archie for being such a sport and also to his fans: after the mud-slinging and stone- throwing at each other, finally, can we go back to being best friends forever (as Reynaldo Lapuz sang)? David Cook, we love you so so much, congrats!!!
