fact is cook is better he's paid his dues he is a true artist archie would be given something that he hasn't quite earned yet so as far as deserviing it cook duh!! but fact is winning american idol would mean being roped into what they want you to put out where they want you to be you'd be idols !@#!@. cook is more talented and deserves the win yes but if he loses he will still be successful and more on his terms so i say may the better man lose winning idol doesn't guarantee stardom anyways-jenn hundson, daughtry, elliot yamin. or you could win and become the next taylor hicks. i say let the better man lose then we all win when he comes out the recording gates swinging on his terms!!

Im with MilesLopez2 the next American idol well be David Archuleta sorry guys but David Cook not going to win this one maybe he need to take his rock ass away forme here?

added thought i think the judges were slamming cook and praising archie because they can see that cook hasn't been happy lately and there are a number of people who will vote the say the judges do so i think it was purposly to get america to vote archie so cook can be happy. no one is questioning that regaurdless he'll be successful

You could clearly tell that they want David A to win..and at this point I have to agree, I was thinking about it, I would be soo upset if David Cook didnt win, but then again, why?? So he would have to be tied to to IDOL BULLS*** and not be able to be himself?? Let the sappy same type of song singer have it...and also BTW I just want to mention in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DID HE SING DONT LET THE SUN..AS WELL AS CLAY AIKEN WHO IF EVERYONE REMEMBERS WAS A 2ND RUNNER UP!!!!!!

I thought the whole show last night was weird.Was Simon saying Cook was a nice guy as his kiss of death?What the heck was the lovefest for Archie about?How come he sang just like he always does,which Simon often brands cheesy,and got all the praise?Do you think Cook doesnt want to win?I think maybe he doesnt want to be tied up like the winnerwill be ,for so long.He proved he could win if he wanted,had he done Billie Jean again he would have wiped the floor with Archie.I think he chose to not win,myself.Most people can clearly see he is the better singer,better performer,better image as American Idol(and I am not even a David Cook fan,I am one of the Jason Castro idolisers),just from a therefore totally unbiased point of view,David Cook has it all over Archie yet the judges have set up Archie to win.I wonder if its because they think he is the better sacrifice to the Ido machine?I agree,Michael Bubbley the 2nd,here comes Archie Bubbley.

I looked at the show again today (I TiVo)... Clearly David Cook was the better performer in my eyes... BTW, did anybody notice that Simon winked at DC after his remark about singing a repeat song?

Why does everybody hate DC's second song... I liked it... thought it was catchy... it had a hook... I would buy it... Matter of fact I would buy a CD of all the songs DC performed on the show... I don't feel that way about any other contestant... maybe Syesha... but hers would be better on Video...
