FOX's Spring schedule is much more interesting than its Fall counterpart. It also contains the single greatest announcement I've heard all week: the American Idol Results Show is going back to a half hour. That wasn't so hard, now, was it FOX? FOX has mastered the art of different, high-profile shows sharing time slots in different parts of the year. As a result, FOX airs less re-runs and makes up for the fact that they run one hour of television less per night than the other three major networks. FOX January and onward schedule is below, but remember – FOX is always very flexible with their schedule. To read the rest, click here.

I'm kind of peeved that they're allowing Dollhouse to kick off the night, when they should schedule it after 24 for better ratings. Oh well. I hope cutting back the Idol results show is just the beginning of the AI changes FOX has in store.

Don, if Dollhouse went after 24 on Mondays, it would air against Heroes. I'm hoping Fringe becomes a solid enough hit on its own so they swap it with Dollhouse come January. Remember: FOX loves changing around its schedule whenever it wants, so I'd actually be shocked if everything on this sked stays the same.

Ah, I forgot about the inexplicably popular Heroes. Good point. Maybe it'll do alright at 8pm.

The new show Dollhouse sounds interesting and I might take a look at it if nothing else is on.

THANK GOD it will only be a half hour results show. Dollhouse sounds interesting, as does The Cleveland Show; I have never gotten into Bones or House or 24 (don't ask me why). As long as they keep Idol and So You Think You Can Dance (with a two hour premiere on Thursday--I can't wait!), I'm satisfied. I don't watch much TV, anyway (gasp!), and I've had it with most reality shows. I would love FOX to really tool their offerings; sounds like they are on the way. Oh, and I love Heroes, too, so I guess I won't be seeing Dollhouse unless I am home to tape one and watch the other. Bummer.
