this episode is a great way for idol to control who goes final 2. 2 weeks ago syesha had the most amount of votes believe it or not, according to dial idol. the show wants the davids in the finale so they just screwed syesha big time.

My first thought of the producer's song choices was " what kind of drugs were they ingesting at that meeting?" Dan Fogelberg?? Dude, when that song came out, I was slow-dancing to it at JUNIOR HIGH graduation,for cripe's sake!
And a song from a cartoon about penguins? After the inital shock wore off, the conspiracy theorist in me thought that they PURPOSELY picked a ridiculous song for Syesha to make sure she didn't upset their "Battle of the Davids" finale.
It's all so planned out there's nothing to be excited about or anticipate for the finale next week. This is my first season and my last I think. Just glad it was the one with David Cook the World's Most Sexy Talented Man. ;-}

it would be a pleasure for archuleta to finally lose and stop singing the same song with different lyrics. as for cook vs syesha in a final cook should win it all just because he is the only one all year that sang anything that would be listenable more than once. he may not be attractive but he has a good voice good execution and made a memorable listen out of what could have been a trap song given to him by simon. archuleta has a good voice but is not something that can be put on cd and actually popped into a player.

Oscar--check out Switchfoot. You might like them. They were also on Leno performing their new song "this is home" which will be featured in Prince Caspian. website-www.switchfoot.com (of course).

Syesha, for me, was the best of the night--over all, and she has been for about the last three weeks, yet, it seems no one really wants to say so. I would much rather watch and listen to Syesha than either of the Davids....and I believe that Syesha will have a longer and more successful media career than either of the Davids--only time will tell. But here, the ranting is so much for David Cook--and I like him when he sing slow and does not scream--that it is hard to know if one has heard correctly. Hopefully, next AI season, there will be reporting instead of ranting about one or two singers constantly. It had been Jason, who certainly proved to be a bit of a disaster the last few weeks.

I agree with you armonvalder syesha has really improved in the last few weeks i only hope it is good enough for the top 2 seat
