BTW, how awkward was, like, everything tonight? It was so much more fun last year? Much.more.fun.

The night was as wooden as the chair.

David Cook took the night HANDS DOWN!!! Archie bores me to tears...sick to death of his ballads. GOODBYE SYESHA!!! I don't have a clue how you made it to the top 3!!!!!!

I dont think the producers should have picked the 3rd song. Here in Australia the viewers send in their ideas for the idols to sing. And the winners get flown in to see the performance live!

Karic, Australian Idol's got it right. I don't understand the producers' choices at all. Have they been watching the show this year? Boring song for Archuleta, bizarre song for Syesha, and odd song for Cook.

Thank God for Round One. I can pretend the rest of the show (including the awkward staging) never took place. Not only was there no time for padding, which is interminable, there wasn't any time for set up!!! Come on, guys, season SEVEN. You'd think they'd have it down by now.

Cook's lines are pretty much busy, busy, busy (I'm trying the third one and only got through twice). This bodes well for Cook fans. I would be shocked if Syesha is left tomorrow (could the judges have been more blatant about not wanting her in the finale?), but she really didn't earn it by tonight's performances. She really did peak next week.

david cook was the bomb tonight rock on david, syesha is rocking too she was so much better than archie who bored me with his eyes closed hand twirling dragging the song to a never never ending deal i really hope america votes right tonight my vote is for cook all the way

I really hope it will not be the 2 davids in the finale i want it to be cook and syesha she really has stepped up to who she is regardless of what the judges say she deserves it
