I think ya he thought it be nice to win but who wants to be locked into the final 3 contract and also not have to remember 1 but 3 songs and perform them all in one night. I think being cut off from the outside world was getting to him. He was missing ppl back home. I would of really loved for him to be on next weeks show and there been an all male final 3. But this didn't happen. So now it's the rocker vs the ballad singer vs the broadway actress. I won't vote as I made a promise after Top 4 week season 5 that if a daughtry like elimination happened again I wouldnt vote anymore or for rest of the season it happened again. Well that happened this season Top 8 week. With that said I am rooting for David Cook.

He was just nice..very cool person. His smiley face made his fan much crazier about him, I loved his unique appearance (raggae hair style) well not so much youngster nowadays has it. wish him good luck in the future being hollywood artist!

I'll miss that pretty boy with the soothing voice! Honestly, I was rooting for him not to get vote off but the reality is Syesha's crying just brought in too many votes and brooke's vote couldn't cover for him. I'll buy his album!

Nice face, nice smile, wonderful eyes.....but American Idol top 5 material--not in what I saw. I felt that Jason was ready to leave several weeks before but the fan base kept him there. Most likely he was confused as he knew his ability and his level of talent and most likely did not want what the top 3 winners would have to endure. As he said, he was relieved to be going home. I am glad Syesha is still in the running as I think she is talented young lady and she is skilled and certainly brings a different and enjoyable performance to the stage each week--she is fun to watch.

I really wanted to see more of Jason, but Im sure I will outside the pressure of AI, he doesnt have the stronger voice, but he does have an unique and charming one, I love everything he does. Im rooting for David Cook now, hope he wins!

He's very Jack Johnson. He'll put an album, I'm sure. His fan base will be really specific but I have some faith that he could do well WITH the right album. That means, don't let Idol's people do it.

TexRed is right on the mark. Jason is a true breath of fresh air in this world of screamers and songs with so much "noise" (in way of backup singers and music) that you can't hear the lead singer's voice. I would buy his CD in a heartbeat and gladly listen to it over and over when relaxing.

Being a laid back southerner myself, I shall miss Jason. What a nice guy. I listened to his two Neil Diamond songs without the video and thought "dang, his voice is beautiful." Seems his hair kinda detracted me when watching Idol, but when he sang "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," I'll admit I got goose bumps. I wish him well. I am not into the rocker, nor the little boy even though he tries to do whatever the judges suggest, and I think the other contestant is Broadway show bound. I wish I had another choice, but then I wish I had some other choice in the presidental election, too. I am more scared about that than who wins AI. Good luck to the top three and I'll vote for the one who does (in my opinion) the best Tuesday night. Happy Mother's Day to those of us who are lucky to be Moms!
