I still like Jason, and I think of them all besides Cook, Jason will be one of those who will make it in the music business. His voice and style of music is the type one hears on the radio or when you walk into a Starbucks. I don't really care for the AI type of performer. Think about it, do any of you really think that the majority of the mentors they have had on the show would have won? Neil Diamond? Bon Jovi? Barry Manilow? And what if Bob Dylan was competing. All legends, but all would have been told "pack your suitcase"

Jason's voice is gorgeous. His are the only songs I downloaded from iTunes. His version of Memory is my favorite, it's just spectacular. I hope and pray he puts out a fantastic album...I can't wait to buy it.

jason castro should have been gone 8 shows ago come on get real people he could not carry a tune his voice was so sissy sounding he wore his pants way to tight and that hair was awful he was terrible brroke white, michael johns david H ramielle and even chekezie was better than him

I will keep saying this... American Idol is for Americans. Michael Johns and Carly SHOULD'VE been up there in front of Jason Castro, Brooke (and gosh that horse riding girl) BUT they are not there because they are not American.

I really like Jason's humilty and his very cute looks. BUT his strength as a performer just wasn't up to the pace - he's a Bob Dylan, a Tim Buckley - a gentle soul. I'll miss his unassuming air and his very goofy smile. He was indeed refreshing...

Boy did i love and admire Jason..he was very unique among the other contestants. The smile..really loved that smile....Cant wait to buy your CD jason
