I really hope it's Syesha going home tonight. I love Jason and I like the songs he chose last night, regardless of what the judges said (which was overly brutal). They definitely don't speak for me. I would, in fact, be embarrassed to have any of them speak for me. They are the downfall of the show, not the contestants.

Castro already admitted that he wants off. I don't think Cook really wants to win and have a "This Is My Now" forced upon him either, otherwise I can't explain that ill-chosen lackluster performance from him last night. That leaves just Syesha and Archie Cheeseboy who care about this damn thing.

They've wanted Archie to win this all along and will get their wish. I just wish he had performed Lola as I wished.

Jordin Sparks followed by Archie; Cowell and other record company types know where the advertising revenue comes from - teens, not geezers like me.

I agree with both of you - Jason's time has come.

Why? I'll try to keep it short and simple: he was just okay. If prior weeks have taught us anything, it's that you can't just be okay - you're got to be horrible or the best. Syesha was slightly better and she might have gone home this week, too, if it wasn't for the sympathy voters. She cried last night and that'll get people going.

And once Jason's gone, the finale may as well be set. Syesha's got a marginal chance of getting there.

It would be great to see Jason Castro stay and Archie to get canned, just to show what a joke the voting system is and what the show itself has become.

If it's true that Jason doesn't want to be there, and he has certainly never appeared to be as motivated as the other, it's a shame he took the spot from someone who did want it. And catmonster is right. It's not simply forgetting the lyrics, it's forgetting them at this stage in the competition. And I don't even agree that they're being harder on him then they were on the others who forgot. The judges panned every element of his performances, and if he does leave tonight it won't be for that.

David Cook HAS to win! I don't care if people think he would be better off not winning... how would anyone know that?? We can't predict the future! DC FTW!

I honestly don't think Syesha consciously played the race card, but I do think it's outrageous that she was given so much screen time to gather up sympathy votes while Jason was shuffled off the stage with "pack your bags." And Little David did boring versions of two iconic songs and had the judges fawning over him. I call foul.

I totally agree with you guys with the 'constant pimping' of David Archuleta. What the hell is up with the judges this season??

I can't imagine Syesha making the final two, unless the Cook or Archuleta camps let its performer down (especially on the Cook front). I agree with the Castro fans moving toward the Archuleta group, if Jason gets voted out, but really, do you think Cook and Archuleta are going to be SO bad that either would let its fans down and TRY to get voted off?! The only other possibility, that you guys mentioned, is that David Cook might not want to win, but I think he'd want to be in the final two. (Then he can lose.) But it's true; he is NOT a tank kind of guy. He gives it his all every week. Whether or not he is off, it's not b/c he tried to be.

What if Syesha is sent packing? Unlikely, but there is a strong Jason camp. Not strong enough, me thinks (esghalis above even says it's probably time for him to go), but who knows? It's been a very bizarre season...

Oh, and really, the constant pimping of David Archuleta--hysterical!!! I think David Cook is very marketable, just like you guys said.
