This was a totally inexcusable Top 4 performance show. The rest of the season should be cancelled. Or bring back worthy competitors from the last 3 years and let them have a second chance. We don't deserve to see any more of Archie, Jughead, Veronica and Reggie.....

Did I just date myself or what? Whooo......

Yeah, I agree about Syesha. I watched last night's show late on tivo. But before that I had read about this "race card" thing. So when Syesha came up and I listened to the comments, I thought to myself, "what's the big deal. No race card was drawn here." As much as I don't care for her personality, I do think she is a very good performer and vocalist. Jason Castro, I still like him as a singer. He is just out of his element in the idol genres. Cook is still the best of the bunch in terms of originality and cleverness of song arrangements and song choices. He will be the most appealing to the widest of the public. As for Little David, he Sings well, but he "Stevie Wonderizes" just about every song. It's so predictable each week that no matter what song he will choose, one just knows what the song will be sung like. Those who provide excuses for him due to him being 17 is a lame excuse. Michael Jackson was 10 when he was with the Jackson 5, Donnie Osmond was the same back th

Got cut off there..., rest of what I was saying about David A. was that, Justin Timberlake was also young. A poor Performance is a poor performance. Has nothing to do with him being 17. I still see him as eventually being no more than a Josh Groban type of singer. He will come and go and the popularity will fade fast. If he should win this, I think once the post Idol contractual obligations expires, His father once again will take over his career. My observations from what I have read about him and seen of his videos, his body language, things he says, are I think David A is the male equivalent of the little girl beauty pageant contestant. Being groomed and pushed all his childhood by the parents to perform and sing and entering contest after contest. This is all he has known and done growing up. The Father is controlling him. I believe that he is incapable of making any decisions on his own regarding his life and will have issues to deal with when he gets older. I hope this

I've liked David cook ever since his first audition and I admit that David Archeletta is talented and will have a very long career (especially if he can somehow get rid of his father as his manger) but he's not my pick as this year's winner (which is why he'll probably win). I've grown to like Jason Castro but have not been impressed with Syeesha! So it comes down to the two Davids!

Does anyone else think the best two performances of Tuesday were the Carly Smithson and Michael Johns duet on The Ellen Show, live in Chicago?

Check out the clip on YouTube - http://youtube.com/watch?v=-Yct-zMznEs

They were awesome and definately should've been in the Top 4 with the two Davids!

Yo dowg I gotta disagree. I've listened to the studio cut of David C's "Billie Jean" and I think it is WAY better than Michael Jackson, to me it is now the gold standard for that song. I've not heard who originally sang "The Music of the Night", but again I think the studio version that David does is awfully good and would certainly be good enough for a theatrical production (just listen to Ian Gillan in the Broadway performance of Jesus Christ Superstar. David is better than that!).
As for David A and "Love Me Tender", I don't even really like Elvis. The difference is that I can listen to Elvis sing that song and imagine that voice actually singing that to a woman he is in love with. And her responding with passion! With David A I get nothing, there is no emotional connection. He doesn't understand or feel the song. He should sing "Stop! The Love You Save" or something like that. There is a reason that his fan base is so young.

Trust me, seaorca, if you listen to Michael Crawford's "Music of the Night" you will definitely hear how David Cook didn't come close to comparing to him. And I can't even fathom how anyone could think David C is better than Michael Jackson. That's blasphemy!
