I agree with your rankings this time. Jason has been by far my favorite this seaon and the artist I WILL by when he puts out his own music. But he peaked early. Halleluiah, Fragile, Travelin' Thru, I Don't Wanna Cry and Over the Rainbow were all at least solid if not spectacular (some were spectacular). But he's had a rough time the las few weeks. I hope he puts it behind him. Archuleta will be successfu with some emotional/lyrical maturity, and David Dook will do well. Sayesha may do well if she finds her own style and music instead of doing good copycats.

I understand your comments, Oscar,, but I disagree about Syesha. Very talented, yes, but I *still* thought, she played both the race card (please, what's the connection?! There have not been any black singers or singers who were transformed during the competition? REALLY??). I will never *get* Archuleta, but I will admit that he had a stronger night than Cook, or anyone else, and the latter better bring up his game if he wants to win it all. And Jason? Sorry. He has potential, but he sure didn't show it last night. These are all just my opinions, guys. I understand that you may feel differently.

I liked Jason's version of I shot the Sherriff, I was genuinely shocked when the judges hammered him for it. They were way too harsh with their critique or roast or whatever you wanna call it. Hated Proud Mary, was kinda confused by Hungry Like the Wolf and had totally predicted Stand By Me.The second round: I was really bummed when Jason Flubbed the words (bet the judges just loved it-they want him gone) I thought David C and Syesha were much better with their choices, and I couldn't believe David A did Elvis. What was his dad thinking? Overall, I was pretty disappointed in just about all the song choices, there was just so much to choose from.

Wow, this was a Top 4 performance show? They really suck - all of them. Least talented AI group ever! My scores: Archeta: B- - he's a song vampire, sucks the soul out of anything he sings, I thought Stand By Me was a good choice of song and done fairly well. Tender was a barf inducing pander to his 12 year old fan base Syesha: B- - She's the only contestant who dresses like a star; Proud Mary was just OK; but I really liked Change either she's a better actor than I think or the sincerity came thru in her performance Cook: D - horrible song choices, no value added, dude: don't sing Daultry, a surprising bad performance Jacon: F - there is no excuse for being unprepared, if he wanted to do Marly, Redemption Song would have been a far better choice.

Ah, change those B minuses to C's. The only two listenable performances of the night were Stand By Me and A Change Is Gonna Come. I was referring to Roger Daultry of The Who for those of you born after 1985.

Having rewatched and rethought I think 2 boys threw the competition tonight. Jason just wants out. Why stay at a party where the hosts hate and disrespect you? Cook wants 2nd or 3rd. How else to explain the idiotic song choices (How many classic rock songs are 90-150 seconds long which he could rock out on and he picks a pop song and Baba? They both need breathing room and, as you said, Baba is not about the vocals. Archie DESTROYED 2 of the classics. Don't care how good his voice is. Don't want to hear Domingo or Pavarotti sing them either.

Revision: Change my 2 B minuses to C's. The only 2 listenable songs on this crapfest were Stand By Me and A Change Is Gonna Come and neither of those were top 4 worthy. BYW: I was referring to Roger Daultry of The Who. I don't think Syesha played a "race card", I really think the song meant something to her. I give her points for that - and that hot silver and gold dress!

Oscar, I think you're a ridiculous fool!!!! Syesya DID, in fact, play the race card and compare her AI experience with the civil rights movement, along with her very fake tears!!!! You can be an idiot and deny it all you want, but smart people see the idiot that Syesha is!!!! I hope she fails miserably in whatever she does after AI, and I believe she will!!! She is VERY unlikable and VERY untalented!!!!!!!!!
