My hubby thinks Neil Diamond is using Botox. His face was a little immobile. Maybe Simon turned him on to it.

David Cook really should win this thing. None of the others come close. His second performance last night was sensational.
Jason on the other hand should be the one to go tonight. He was once so unique but now his performances are boring imitations of the originals. He is now totally outclassed by the others.
Syesha is proving that she could be a great musical singer. Now that she seems to have gotten over her diva stage she is starting to impress me again. I would place her second. Dialidol has her first this week!
I agree that Brooke's first song was terrible, but she totally redeemed herself with the second song.
Archuleta is an enigma. He has a great voice, but something gets lost in the translation. I can't put my finger on it, but there is just no oomph to his performances.
I hope Jason is the one going home, but it could be Brooke or Syesha.

For those of you (Zimangel94) who say that David Cook is a fake - you are ridiculous!! If you ever pay attention to the show you will find that none of them sing their own songs!!!! They are all singing covers!!!! THe judges call David "original" because he chooses songs either he arranges himself or ones that other have already been re-arranged that best suit his voice and style. That's why they say he makes the songs "his own." So don't be ignorant and call him a fake again. Aand by the way...I DO have three of David's albums that he had recorded on his own in the past and they are all original songs that he or his band wrote...hardly any covers. So, thanks!

Preview of tne experience listening to a David Archuleta CD: Put CD is player and push play. Song #1 - That's a nice song. He kind of relaxes me. Song #2 - That's a nice song, I'm getting really relaxed. Song #3 - Nice song, but sounds like song #1 and song #2. Song #4 - Sounds like song #1, 2, & 3..Songs 5-7 sounds the same. Song #8 is supposed to be an upbeat song, I bet that will be good. Hey..it sounds like the first 7 songs! Fast forward to end, eject and never play again. Folks, this guy sounds exactly the same every time. He has a pleasent tone, but he has no tonal range. In 2 minute snippets it's good, but over an entire CD you'll go crazy.

I complete concur with the report. I hope Jason Castro goes home, but I'm sure it will be Syesha, who did fine but still gets Simon hating her (just like he was hard on Carly, and that was completely undeserved). Can you imagine going to see David Archuleta in concert? Ugh. So the Davids will be safe (again), and I think Jason (I hope) and Syesha will be in the bottom two, though probably it will be Brooke and Syesha (again) and Syesha will go home. Sigh. This is getting to be a very predictable, boring season. If it weren't for David Cook, I'd stop watching.

David Cook: Very well done on both songs.

Brooke White: I'm so bored with her. Set the guitar down and don't even try to play it. Piano on the second song was ok, but she is flat out boring.
Jason: He started off well, but fell flat on the 1st song Second song was a little better.
David A: I hated his butchered "Sweet Caroline". It was horrible and I'm not sure how the judges would like that. Second song was typical nonsense from him. I guess the little girls will keep him in for at least another week though.

Finally....someone that has said what I've been saying about little David. I am so over him and I'm sick of everyone burning me at the stake for not liking him. It's like you can't hate him. I dont think he is very good at all! Sorry. I think David C is the best and for all of you that say he is fake....then pretty much everyone you listen to is fake too because everyone in the business takes songs from other people and re-does them for their own genre or style of music. So I just have to laugh at those poeple.
