Wow, so there go two of Paula's Top 4. Carly is gone? I mentioned this in our podcast, but it's possible there was a bit of backlash because "Jesus Christ Superstar" might be a bit sacriligious for the midwest. Just a thought.

America is going on -- freakin' a -- people keep saying its a popularity contest -- but I try so hard to not believe it. I'm not even going to try to call it anymore -- I'm rarely -- if ever -- right because my predictions are mostly based on my idea of talent. Sniff.

I can't say I'm surprised, since at this point it's really coming down to who has the strongest fanbase, but I also can't say I'm not disappointed. I did like Carly, despite her vague desperation and, as I think it was Oscar who said, that feeling that she's not quite singing as well as we think she should. She rocked it last night, so at least she's going out on a high note!

The Voting system should be changed. Just proves this show is tween and teen
controlled. What adult has the time to vote 300- 700 times for their favorite contestant. Popularity driven. How can Carly be eliminated??

This is just crazy. People should just stop trying to predict because in the end they will be wrong. You just never know with this season
