I think if his father was overbearing and intimidating to the contestants when David was on Starsearch, those were mostly children, if he is trying the same stunts with the AI contestants, they are much more older and mature so they probably wont let him get to them as much, I do agree with abagail about the amazon comment and also, he probably will try to dig up any dirt on the remaining idols and the one's that have already been voted off to get what he wants for his son. I also agree with buddytvgina, with the statement, about him being nervous and skittish all the time...Yes he is, probably because if he says or does the wrong thing, He is scared of what will happen to him or what will be said to him by DADDY DEAREST in private when it's all said and done.....

With all the popularity voting, rather than talent, I'm already detached from AI; if it degenerates further into a soap opera, than I'm out. Raising the age seems ok, but then you get the stripper pasts and whatever. We really do love the trash, regardless of the age.

I never knew this before and I think David would be better off his dad sitting safely in the audience. I hop his dad hasn't efected any of the contestants performances already. Buddytvgina is right he does look like he is nervous all the time becusae he is afraid of saying the wrong thing. But none the less David Archuleta still rox my sox!
