Kristy Lee Cook embarked on a most interesting path when first taking the American Idol stage a couple months back. In the beginning, Kristy Lee seemed a less that formidable American Idol contestant, the pretty blonde girl with an OK voice who would be eliminated early in the Top 24. She didn't particularly impress anybody, constantly found herself in the bottom three, but she was a survivor. She could not be taken out for good, and then, a couple weeks ago, she started improving and improving, culminating in this week's performance, which was probably her best of the season. Kristy Lee held an American Idol conference call earlier today to discuss her time on the show. To read the rest, click here.

Kristy Lee is a doll, she CAN sing and she has a fun personality. She would fit right in with the Country Club that accepted Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler. I wish her the very best and encourage the haters to give her a chance. Carrie, Kellie and Kristy Lee are each country, but different in their own ways and I think it's great that the first two have made their place, now Kristy Lee...go make yours

I don;t think she's as bad as her haters think or as good as her supporters believe. She's just middle of the pack.

Wished she'd have stayed a bit longer and the ridiculous Brooke had packed it in instead. Yes, something was way off on "Eight Days A Week" when performed live. The iTunes studio version was better -- still not fantastic, but much improved. She and the band were way out of synch -- it seemed like she was running to keep up with them.

One of the most talented and beautiful singers to ever be on AI. Her beauty and talent brought out the envy and jealousy of many lesser beings. Kristy Lee can go forward with a successful career in music or in fashion. Great job she did, and when she sang Anyway, one of the best performances of the entire season of AI, season 7. It is nice to see a young lady with dignity, class, talent and beauty combined with a competive spirit. Total package she is.
