This years AI does seem to have no rhyme or reason, but so far i haven't really cared about who has gone, they weren't going to win anyways (even John's and I was a fan). The final 2 is probably going to be two guys, both David's I guess. Next week is going to be interesting, I love ALWebber, been to Phantom about 15 times. I can't see most of them singing his songs, I fear I might be cringing

Ah, Kristy Lee Cook. I will say, that in this very boring season, her rendition of "Eight Days a Week" stands out as one of the most interesting and horrifying things I've ever seen. I wish more Idol contestants would go for something so memorable and ill-conceived.

I'm with you BuddyD, this season has been horribly boring -- we keep getting the same performances every week from every contestant, and it's growing dull. I miss the personality-filled cast of Season Five and the realtively innocent, unpolished fun of Season One.

Agreed. I find my attention wandering this season - even during performances. Even last season, while I didn't particularly like Blake Lewis, I always wondered what he would come up with. I actually liked Gina, Sligh and LaKisha enough - despite uneven performances - to look forward to their choices also. This year: nada, zilch, zippo. Boring, predictable and subpar. Hmmm, maybe Jason should take a page from Sanjaya and premier the Dreadhawk....

If Kristy wasn't able to have a sucessful recording career before after opening for big country acts and being signed by Britney Spears' label why on earth do you think she will have one now?

I still think that Brook should have been out. As for David Cook I feel that he,s not real. He started out real proud and having an attitude but now he seems to be more humble, perhaps he knows that being proud will not get him many votes.
