If Kristy Lee could have come out the gate the way she has been performing lately I totally would be behind her. The fact of the matter is, she probably should not have made the top 12, and she definitley had a couple weeks where she should have been leaving. Thus I just can't get over those eliminations.

I will agree with the majority here....David Cook and Castro where the top two! I, personally, make my husband hate Castro due to how much I drool over him...but I really did think he stepped it up tonight and had a stronger voice than usual. As for David Cook...he just effin rocks. He needs to put out an album NOW! If anything I think he would be a wicked good producer in the future! I know he has snagged others arrangements....however he knew to do it and chose oh so wisely. He had my hubby loving a M. Scary song last night! Thats huge! hehe

i was looking past performances last night just to see the progression of the people left. and here is what i noticed. Carly seems to have lost her confidence after how much she is put down. She was so explosive in the begining. and they keep putting her down. I hate how they purposfully hate on some contestants to make america vote for the ones they like. I think that Jason, is getting worse not better. I dont think he wants to win, i think he is just there to get recognision then wants to do it on his own. KLC who cares. David C is just great a real artist. David A needs to mix it up, i am bored. Brooke, is also getting worse in my opinion. Syesha I agree has a great voice but does not connect, but i think that has to do with them putting her down a lot too.

This was the best David Cook performance in weeks. KLC is the only girl safe this week, and was the only one that did not make my stomach turn. FOr all the talk about her being limited vocally, where is that discussion as it pertains to Brooke. Somehow Brooke has got a free ride while KLC is roasted. KLC will be the last girl standing and will make the top four and maybe the top three.

I am not a big Mariah listener, so I am just going by how each performer sounded to me. Based on that, I think Brooke may be the one to go this week--I really didn't think she did that well with the song. I admit to being a Castro fan, which sort of surprises me--but I did like the Latin vibe on that song--which I didn't know before hearing it last night. Maybe Randy didn't like it because of his working with THE GREAT MARIAH. But if you take it on its own, it was good. My rankings: J. Castro, D. Archuleta, D. Cook, Syesha, KLC, Carly, Brooke.

Why isn't David Cook numba 1 he did the best didn't you hear Randy he stood up appuladed him and told him it was the most brillaght performance this season

if you listen to the songs and not watch the clips, you can see that some of these people that are praised are not pleasent to listen to, at least this week. i.e. David A. my ranking...in terms of what sounded good and like a real artist/song
1.David C. -a hit
2.KLC - suprisingly good, before i listened again i had her at the bottom
3.Carly - well sang
4.Jason - good aragngement, but week vocals
5.David A. - really not that good, bad song choice
6.Syesha - I wish i liked it more
7.Brooke - love this song, she ruined it, and sang badly

You have Jason, Brooke, and Syesha ranked 2,3,4, but I would not be sorry to see any of them go. In my opinion, they have not lived up to their potentials. These would be my bottom 3 this week.
Kristy, on the other hand, has exceeded expectations. At this point I would put her in the top 4.
Love Carly, but I think she is trying too hard.
Love David Cook, but the last two weeks I have not enjoyed his performances at all.
I am so so on David Archuleta, but since he is destined to win this thing it does not really matter.

I'm sorry but I do not agree with all of your rankings. I believe David C gave the performance of the night. I was worried when I heard it was Mariah Carey night, but David C worked his magic and was brilliant. As much as I dislike KLC, I gotta give her props. I thought she was very smart tonight. My guess is that the bottom 3 will be Brooke, Syesha, and Carly with Syesha going home.
