I continue to think that the two David's are going to battle it out at the end. The tweens love David A, and those of us a bit older are digging David C. (Well, I loved Michael, but it's too late now, till I buy his CD.) I thought Mariah week was a bit odd, but then again, so was Dolly week. I really liked Carly and Syesha tonight, but b/c Simon doesn't like them, they probably won't get many votes. I think it's way past time for Kristy Lee to go home, but I think it's going to be Carly, Syesha, or maybe even Brooke (just okay tonight). I didn't get Jason tonight, either; Randy and I must have been a the same luau.

Hmmm, nothing great, but nobody sucked this week. KLC started real rough, but hit a big money note at the end, best I've heard her sing actually. I don't usually like Jason but rather liked this arrangement. I wish DCook hadn't been drowned out by the band, I couldn't really hear him very well. I'm tired of Cheeseboy and Brooke, what more can I say? I thought Carly gave the worst performance and is likely to go home. Syesha sang well, but I never get any connection to the song when she sings.

KLC needs to go. Brooke did bad on a technicality. Mariah Carey just isn't the type of singer that Brooke is, thus Brooke didn't do all that great. I still love her.

Brooke, KLC, Syesha in the bottom 3. That's my prediction. Brooke goes home.

I thought David Cook was pretty brilliant. But then -- I really like the alternative rock thing. Brooke was bad. Totally off pitch and disconnected from the song. Simon was right -- the girls were like some sort of professional karaoke contest. And I agee with acemondo -- Brooke, Syesha and Carly in the bottom 3 -- Carly going home. If she had been able to compete the first year she made it to Hollywood -- she would have been much more relevant. Everything she does seems sort of -- well -- already done. The song she sang is one of the most covered songs ever -- I've heard so many versions that hers was just like -- eh (shrug).

just wanted to say that i thought the guys did 10x better than the girls which is quite shockng being that its mariah carey week. go david c.!!!!!!!!!!!

Surprisingly -- I thought KLC was the best girl tonight -- not great -- but more interesting -- more connected than the other 3 -- I wish she hadn't felt the need to remind us twice that she gave Mariah chills. Who knows what kind of chills? Maybe the air conditioning was set too low. JazzyJake -- my hub calls David A 'Archie Cheeseboy' -- funny that you call him Cheeseboy too. He gives the same performance every week -- blah.

And lastly -- I thought it was so great that David C's family worked out a way for his brother to come see him perform. Very cool. David C rocks for being able to compete under such challenging cir!@#!@stances. I'd be a complete wreck.
