Wait, so next week really is Mariah Carrey week and not a general 21st Century songs week, like I'd heard? Oh god that is awful. Why must they limit the song choices to those done by the mentor? It rarely works out well. I mean, remember Gloria Estefan night?

Everyone must have forgotten that, at its heart, this is still a REALITY SHOW!! AI is probably the softest and kindest of the lot, with no backstabbing and plotting among the contestants like Big Brother or Survivor. This is not the Oprah or Dr. Phil show and the producers owe no one an apology. Get a grip!

I 'm sorry to hear that he will probably put out another rock CD,,the same thing he had before. I think he would sell a lot more CDs if he did a bluesy type one but he has to follow his heart, My favorite by him was the "It may be wrong but it's all right"....

Everyone should stop complaining. The best thing that ever happened to Michael Johns is that he didn't win this thing. Just ask Daughtry.

Michael's problem was that he was everal peoples second favorite and not their first. If the format were one where voters voted for who they wanted off, he would be top 3 easily as he had a wide and strong appeal and was not polarizing. THis will work to his benefit though, as Gina said.

RebR7, did you not read the comments? The producers TOLD Ryan to say that to "Create Drama" or something. So I fail to see what your little e-mails are going to accomplish. Nigel even admitted it was his fault on Ryan's radio show.
