American Idol 7: Top 8 Results Show Recap

America can be confusing. I'm just one person, and I know where my head is at and I know how I rationalize things, but no matter how much I can pretend to understand the reasoning of the rest of America they are, and always will, remain a mystery. Tonight's American Idol left me speechless. The end result was out of nowhere, though this is something I should have expected – the American Idol results have been shocking all year. In addition to the results, American Idol aired a lot of leftover Idol Gives Back footage from last night. Most interesting: the mini-speeches given for Idol Gives Back from the three presidential candidates apparently weren't good enough for Idol Gives Back.

If he finds a band and learns how to dress (DUMP THE ASCOTS) he might have an ok career

America must really ascots. Not that I blame them, since the Fred from Scooby-Doo look is a bit outdated.

i am sure that michael will have a more successful career than david archihuahua, who will obviously win this year's competition! with michael out, it's now left to only david cook to be the one who deservedly wins it.

anyway, as michael himself sang last week, IT'S ALL WRONG, BUT IT'S ALL RIGHT! cos he will go on to have a fantastic career!

I agree that it is Syesha Mercado's time to go. I was in complete shock that Micheal Johns was even in the bottom 3 let alone friggin' elminated!! But hey, if he makes a cd I'll be there to buy it!
