Everyone seemed to think Syesha would go tonight because of her poor song choice and her bland performance style all season. When Ryan said Syesha's name I thought he was going to say she was going home and I was even more confused when he added Carly. Never expected this. Unlike most people though, it was my secret wish to see Michael go home. He yells, strains for the high notes in the most painful way, has pitch problems and makes poor song choices. He's hot, though.

I agree with MargoK. Michael could get a bit screechy, and he definitely was on Tuesday. Nevertheless, I think this was a huge upset.

He should form a blues-rock band and do good songs written for them like you -know-who--but he can't just call the band by his last name if you get my drift. So it'll have to be --""Band Name-with Michael Johns" for the name recognition.

Good grief. 13 year old girls should not be allowed to vote for the cutest boy. Thought this was a singing competition.

Sorry antwinette but that is who drives the "pop" scene. Starting in the 50's it's 12 year old girls screaming for their "cute" pop idols...and their parents buying all the crap that goes with it. Didn't you hear the screams for Miley Riley Ciley or whatever her name is?That's why she got 2 songs and the presidential candidates got last nite. David A is just another in a long line of teen idols and the industry loves them all.

i felt nauseous when i found out he got voted off. and ryan is a total prick.

It seems wrong that he is gone, especially when there are other competitors that probably should have gone before him. Nonetheless, I'm sure that Michael has a great career ahead of him, and once Idol has blown over, I think he'll emerge as the true winner.
