I half slept through most of it. I turned on the TV only to find out the show started at 7:30. Who knew? Miley Cyrus.Echhh! Wait 10 years and you'll be seeing her on cellulite commercials,or toothwhitening product ads. Boring. No,I didn't donate. I don't vote either. The phone company makes enough money off me.If you need a telethon to make you charitable once a year... well let's just say I have a clear conscience. As usual, they didn't deliver what they promised. I missed Elliott Yamin the most.

I thought the show was good, your right Daughtry brought me to tears the way he was with the children, teaching them that song, and what he didnt say, he was soo wonderful with them, and what he showed us from his heart...just made it beautiful..Also, I thought Miley Cyrus did wonderful for her age and I think she will go a long way, why does everyone seem to put her down? She's only a 15 year old child...for her age, her stage presence and her performance could blow alot of adult performers away, that's jmo..but that's how I feel. I really commend American Idol and all the performers for giving from the heart and doing this show America Idol Gives back to the less fortunate....I know all of us dont have the means to help, but for the one's who do, it shows them and all of us how fortunate in our lives we truly are, and also how blessed we are also.

Being a huge fan, I'd like to know: what happened to the Clark Brothers? They were supposed to be in the line up on Idol Gives Back last night, too. I was looking forward to hearing them do something different from last week. I hope we'll be seeing a lot more of them in the future.

This was the first time I heard Miley Cyrus sing and I hope its the last. She was bad both times but I thought her skit with Billy Crystal was funny but I am going to give him all the credit for that and I couldn't believe she was 15, she looks a lot older than that.

this show was amazing last night, it was really caring, my fav performace was the one girl with short blonde hair, i dont know her name but she was wearing a t shirt that said hiv positive, anyways, that was my all time fav performance. i loved it. it was really funny when that guy from Flubber and RV sang that russian song and simon that it was brilliant, man that was hilarious. im pretty sure they are gonna do this next year so i cant wait. now to the other performances, fergie was ok, i hated her outfit. those pants or wat ever they were, were just horrible. i didnt like that. then with miley, she sounded bad, and her dancing was worse. all she did was keep on flipping her hair around and she did it so much it just got annoying. carrie underwoods performance was nice. i wish she smiled with her teeth showing once she was done with the song cuz her half smile looked as if she was pissed or something. lol but in all the show wasnt bad, i enjoyed it. to me, it was alittle too long. im

Dougg89, you're right. Miley Cyrus was amazingly, shockingly BAD. I don't get why hordes of little girls cram her concerts and scream their heads off, or why their mothers would allow them to go see a 15-year-old with a completely manufactured image sporting skin tight jeans, 5 inch stillettos, and yes, who looks 24, not 15, and CANNOT sing a note (except the fact that their mothers are taking them and are utterly tone deaf).
