American Idol's Idol Gives Back charity event is a great thing.  When a media empire like American Idol comes into being, they have a responsibility to use their power for good, and that's exactly what they do with Idol Gives Back.  No matter what qualms you may have with the Idol brand, you can't argue with the $76 million they made for charity last year.  The second edition of Idol Gives Back is up tonight and will bring us two and a half hours of star-studded entertainment, as well as show us where our donated money will go.  I'll be here throughout the night, blogging along with the action.  If you're going to read along, feel free to comment below.

Oscar, please shut-up with you stupid opinions and just write about the show!!! If you think NASCAR is just about driving around in circles, then you're even dumber than I thought you were! Don't comment about what you don't have a clue about! Secondly, Snoopy dog idiot is NOT cool! He's a freakin' drug addict thug who kills people! So shut up please!

Once again, Oscar says some stupid comment about a singer (Fergie) who is giving her time to perform on this show....and also a performer that, according to Oscar, is not a very good singer. Yet she has sold millions of records, had a #1single for multiple weeks, along with 3 other Top 10 solo hits, and has been nominated for a Grammy! That's pretty amazing for someone who can't sing! What an idiot Oscar is!

If you hate it that much why read it.... jeez things people do/write to attract attention ... there you go I paid attention so you may stop reading Oscar's blogging, just watch the show... it would help Fox's ratings

LOL....Good 'ole Oscar, our "music expert", who writes about AI, a music competition, doesn't even know the song that Carrie so beautifully sang.....it's George Michael's Praying For Time, you idiot!!! It's utterly amazing how often Oscar doesn't know the song being sung, even during AI performances. I ALWAYS know the songs, as I'm sure most people do. Absolutely amazing that BuddyTV doesn't have someone else, who actually knows about music, who could write about a music show! Pathetic on BuddyTV's part!!!!

Acemondo is just out to get you, Oscar. I thought Fergie's crawling on the floor during Heart's song was a little unccessary. On a side note, I LOVE ALICIA KEYS!! My son and I took money from each of our bank accounts tonight and donated to Idol Gives Back.

Ha, the second I saw Mary Murphy, I thought of Oscar, who's spent many a night recapping her screams. Also, I still love Labyrinth. "You remind me of the babe. What babe? The babe with the power? The power of voodoo. Who do? You do. Do what? Remind me of the babe." Plus, David Bowie gives the Best Supporting Performance by a Dude's Package in the history of cinema.
