Since I'm on the stupid Wst Coast, I've decided to pseudo-LT in these comments. The Miley/Bill Crystal skit was hilarious because it was like a meta-commentary on the sad state of America's youth, that they don't know anything beyond their generation. It's like all us 20-somethings who complain about MTv because it used to have music.

well sum1 is in rare form 2nite......i thought the show was very nice tonight. i also think fergies not that great but there are many singers out there who are terrible and sell lots of albums and get awards but it doesnt mean they are good singers unfortunately it just means somehow theyve appealed to the public in one way or another. back to the show....the annie lenox segment was very touching and i thought the idols sang very well tonight. anyway just an opinion......

i love how ACEMONDO hates on Snoop Dog and then criticizes OSCAR for hating on Fergie. Sounds a bit hypocritical if you ask me. But you didn't ask me...so whatever.

I love you AceMondo. You are the best. I've never been criticized for not knowing a George Michael song before. In a weird way, it makes me proud.

I think Oscar should be proud not to know many of the songs sung on AI. A lot of them are quite horrendous. I'm having bad Dolly Night flashbacks already.

Some of the show had to be pre-recorded though because Carrie Underwood was in Maryland performing with Keith Urban...As My Sisterinlaw Was at her concert last night....So....I dont know how she was in two places at one time, except for prerecording......

Your reviews are good and entertaining but why is every accent that isn't American "silly" or "ridiculous" ????

I only saw a few minutes of the whole thing (thank gawd), unfortunately, it was the awkward (to say the least) "interview" with Billy Crystal and Miley Cyrus, the Top 8 song, and then Miley Cyrus's song after that. I know hordes of little girls cram her concerts and scream their heads off, but huh? Is is just me, or was she really, REALLY bad? It was all manufactured image, if you ask me. The tight jeans, 5 inch stilettos, the hair, but she can't sing a note. And the top 8? How do you spell B-L-A-N-D?
