Swap KLC and Johns and you have my line-up. Sorry, but KLC kinda rocked, and did better than w hole lot of people who, from past songs, are much more talented than her.

I think David Cook really wanted to sing a song by his favorite band, the line about never heard of cancer really resonated with him, and he had earned an "indulgent" song choice after weeks of excellence and perfect choices. I actually loved the song but thought the sound was a bit off and it started too quiet. I was not the least bit impressed with KLC though. I'm not really sure I'd say she's ascended, but she's had so many weeks in the bottom two that her fans know they HAVE to vote or she won't stay...and thus we continue to be stuck with her.

Yeah, as I said, I can give Cook a mulligan. He's been so good for so long, that I'll allow him that indulgence.

It's sad that only because KLC has zero talent, people lower their standard and award her credit as long as she doesn't sing too out of tone / put in horrible arrangements. I admit that she gave a ok karaoke performance last night, but to say that she "kinda rocked"?? Come on, seriously will you ever buy a CD from her (unless it only contains one song - Amazing Grace)? Her continuous presence on the show is utterly horrendous.

Oh god, I just can't stop laughing at Jasons performance. It was so comical with that tiny guitar and with so, so, so subdued and monotonous vocals, and then in the end he the got most hilarious overpraising ever in Idol. OMG. What in the what, please get real. My dog could howl the way that he sang the song.

The KLC ascension has been the most surprising story of the season. I don't know what to think.

I also think Michael is rated too high. He was screechy to my ears - I had to lower the volume. Carly, on the other hand, I thought did a wonderful job. Who in the competition can match her vocally? I would actually flip these rankings.
