Even though I didn't correctly predict tonight's eliminated contestant on American Idol, I did guess the bottom three exactly right.  This might not be so noteworthy on some Idol weeks, but my surprise choice for bottom three banishment actually ended up in the bottom three.  I rejoiced, until the final results were read and my ultimate (and only one that really mattered) prediction fell flat.  Nonetheless, tonight's American Idol was relatively painless, as far as results shows go.  Two bottom three entrants were there for the first time, Dolly Parton's old bones performed and Ryan Seacrest took more phone calls from America (does anyone, at all, care about that last part?).

Kudos Oscar on picking Brooke for the bottom 3. But wow, I do not get America's voting this season. Overmyer wasn't in the bottom 3 week 1, but got eliminated in week 2. Chikezie wasn't in the bottom 3 the first two weeks, but then got eliminated. Ramiele wasn't in the bottom 3 for three weeks, then goes. I'm shocked so many people are going from complete safety to eliminated, leapfrogging past KLC, who's down there EVERY SINGLE TIME!

I laughed when the girls were on stage and Ramiele was in the middle and she looked up and told them they were so tall. Anyway for once America has been 4/4

I think the top 8 is absolutely right. It is interesting that everyone eliminated from the top 12 was eliminated when they were in the bottom 3 for the first time. I wonder if anyone will be eliminated next week due to the idol gives back thing?

Is KLC setting a record for bottom 3 showings without being eliminated? I believe that she'll go next week.

I was secretly hoping that Babbling Brooke would go; gawd would someone please turn her mic off?!?! I think she's become annoying and could go sooner than some people think.

All that said, I think Ramiele was the right choice this week: she had nothing but predictable song choices and gave nothing but rote, forgettable performances. And: The Sanjaya Limit was reached!

I was absolutely wrong this week, I thought Syesha's slaying of I WIll Always Love You would invoke the Whitney Curse.

KLC should be gone!! Ramiele is a cutie and should've stayed one more week just based on that. she has a much better voice than KLC, but never looked comfortable on stage.

I feel bad that Raimele got eliminated. I think she sings well, and there was nothing she could do to please the judges. If you listen to her studio songs from Itunes, she really does have an amazing voice. Its too bad that for some reason she couldnt do that on stage. America got it wrong this week.

Ramiele is cute and has a good voice, but is not idol material, so America made the right choice. I still like Brooke and was sorry to see her in the bottom three. I think KLC should go next, then Syesha (enough already with the Whitney Houston. ugh.) After that, every elimination will be tough.

Hey Oscar, rewind and watch the Clark Brothers again... they are amazing!!! I watched them on NGAB and they rocked it every single show! They were a highlight on AI last night.
