I'd rank this episode next to that second Beatles night as one of the worst I've seen. It could be that Dolly songs are my Kryptonite though, so maybe that was the problem.

Well, apparently I liked Castro's song and performance better than a lot of people did, although I never heard Dolly's version. But I thought the song suited him well, and I did think he brought dynamics and emotion into it. I'm not generally a country fan, but I do like Dolly--so maybe that's why I didn't really go for Ramiele, Syesha's or Carly's performances--just like Dolly's versions better. I think based solely on this week, there is no question Ramiele should go, but I'm afraid someone I like a whole lot better will actually go, like Chekizie did last week.

I thought David Cook did extremely well, but I think the night belonged to Michael Johns. I agree with rankzero, that this was not a night for great performances, but I don't think anyone did terrible. I do think that ramiele should go home, because, as Simon Cowell says, she is very forgettable. I do not think that she has any stage presence at all, and it makes me feel awkward for her to watch her.

I think Johns stole the show. I hope you're right about Michael, Oscar. It'd be greta to see him advance to the finals. The other performers were all very good, as well. I had no complaints.

David Archuleta was NOT one of the best 5 (five) performances lastnite, so i don't know why those girls were shouting for nothing.
