That was true insight acemondo. No matter what anyone thinks, someone will go home. And someone will go home who gave a good performance last night since they were all pretty good. That doesn't mean the performance was bad or anything at all really, except that fewer people voted for them as a favorite. If everyone voted for their least favorite and that person left the results would probably be significantly different.

I'm a big fan of David C, and I thought his arrangement was nice, not rocking, but really nice. I thought David A, Carly and Brooke gave solid performances. I knew it. I just knew someone had to do I Will Always Love You. I think (unlike KLC's USA corniness) that attempting a song that well known, no matter how original you make it, is an extremely poor choice. Given that, I really attempted to listen to it objectively...and given the difficulty level of the song, I happen to think Sayesha did a beautiful job on it. I enjoyed her version (except when she went flat at the end of each line in the beginning). I think choosing that is to her detriment.

I'm shocked. Except for the typical 'jealous females' comment and though I did think that Brooke was a bit off pitch and off tempo tonight -- I sort of agree with everything acemondo said about tonights show. SHOCKING! And yes -- I'm not surprised given the genre but I do admit -- KLC was good and looked beautiful. Syesha sang well in the first part of the song -- but -- her voice was really strained during the last part of the song -- it was especially noticable when she did the big note sans accompaniment. Out of everyone Ramielle was the worst -- but I (again OMG!) I agree with acemondo this week. I think Syesha may go home tomorrow.

Dialidol....First week this far that it actually made a definite prediction for 9th place....and its Ramiele. EST voting just closed. I guess we'll see if that changes, but I've never seen Dialidol be so definitive!

A lot of people are predicting Syesha to go tomorrow, but I don't see this happening. For one, she picked probably one of the more popular songs tonight. Two, she took a song from a country artist and did the pop version. Thus she probably took a lot of the R&B/Country Haters, votes tonight.

I think David C has such a bad attitude. He seems totally unimpressed with being there and acts like he already won. He's good but he's not THAT good. Have some humble pie, Cook.

I have to agree with just about everything Simon said tonight. What an underwhelming batch of performances. Even the ones that were technically good suffered from being boring, boring songs. I really wish they'd stop doing these weeks devoted to one particular artist, as it seems to lead to the worst episodes.

Wait a minute, I just realized that nobody did "9 to 5," and that's the only Dolly Parton song I wanted to hear. Boo!

That's cause I think they're doing 9-5 as a group tomorrow. That's the song they were practicing with her in the beginning.

Oh okay. I never watch the results show though, so I'm bound to miss out. I still think this episode could have used a few peppier numbers.
