Let's not forget the elephant in the room - race. A top 8 without a black singer? This has never happened before or even nearly. The closest was Season 5 when Paris Bennett was voted off in 5th place. Like Quinn1984 I think Chikezie's fans will rally around Syesha and keep her in for a while longer.
The other race issue is Ramiele, who apparently has a large and devoted Asian fan base. It is Jasmine Trias all over again, though Ramiele is a better singer. Jasmine was truly awful, yet somehow made it to the top 3 in Season 3. If you don't remember or believe me, download some of the Season 3 episodes.
We are unfortunately still not a colorblind society.

Basing my opinion off the fact that you relied solely on logic, I think this is a decent list. Sadly, I agree that Syesha will probably be next to go because of her small fan base. However, I see a few problems with the Top 4. I think you have the right people, just not the right order. Even though David A. has begun to trip up a bit, I still think he can win this due to his universal appeal. The placement of Brooke, Michael, and David C. seems to have problems embedded in it, though.

Due to Michael's last performance and the fact that he has probably been planning things out very carefully to earn momentum, I'd say he may just be able to boot David C. and Brooke out of third and fourth place, respectively to take second. Of course, in order for this to happen, I think Brooke and Cook will have to find themselves in a state of decline during the next few weeks. If this happens, I think we can see a Johns vs. Archuleta finale. After all, I think Johns can be as appealing as Cook and White once he steps up his game. He seems harmless right now, but I think he's being clever in waiting for the right moment.

b0001882 - Hey, how abolut this for a theory. Unlike last season when the strongest performers were clearly the black women, this year's black contetants just are not very good (unlike Melinda and Lakesha) and their styles have NO appeal to tweeners (unlike Jordan).

Just a thought.

I'd like to believe that Johns has been sandbagging a bit. We'll see if that's true in the next couple weeks.

Oh, and John - Chikezie was going to sing 9 to 5, so now it looks like no one will sing it.

I agree with you pharmboy bout "Carly=based karaoke singer in the world with the scariest looking husband"..her husband is really scarry...he looks like a leopard with zebra stripes....but I thinks he is a good man, though...
To you MARGOK...I think you have an ear problem...the judges would not have picked RAMIELE from thousands of AI aspirants if she can't sing....lol....she is a good singer....a big voice from a small package....and she is adorable.....

Heres My Prediction 9th - KLC(she just sux) 8th- Syesha ( good singer small fan base. 7th - Ramielle ( She is aight but needs to go) 6th- Jason( love him but not good enough) 5th- MichAEL ( a little boring) 4th - Brooke ( she should be 2nd but she does not have gigantic fanbase) 3- David Cook( Just like a dauhtry wannabe) 2- Carly Smithson ( Amazing Voice) 1- David Artuleta ( Damn Straight!)
