This is all getting very tricky. The bottom three American Idol singers have been incredibly difficult to predict week in and week out. There are no real discernible patterns that I can see regarding each week's bottom three. Tonight's bottom three very much surprised me, though the eventual eliminated contestant wasn't a shock. Given the way the last two American Idol results shows have gone, it's impossible to forecast the remainder of the season. This is clearly a good thing, because a foregone conclusion isn't something anybody wants. Conventional wisdom has been of no help, and the American Idol voters are increasingly unpredictable. Which means the next couple of months will be fun.To read the rest, click here.

Dialidol.com had Syesha 7th, Ramiele 8th, Jason 9th, and Chikezie 10th, so they were very close to predicting the bottom 3 and did predict Chekezie going home. Now that there are fewer contestants, they may be best source to gauge who will be going home.

Every season has to have a Kristy Lee Cook, a Jon Stevens, a Sanjaya Malakar, a Jasmine Trias, a Kevin Covais. I suppose, to some people, it's what makes the show interesting but it's exactly what I had most about it. There is absolutely no way that the people just listed are among the top 24 BEST singers who tried out for the show. They have zero future in the music industry and, to me, it hurts the show's credibility. Not like Simon has any credibility anyway. This IS the guy who did an album of WWF (at the time) wrestlers singing. He has no interest in what's good, only what sells. The problem is that 95% of Idol contestants don't sell either.

I was so glad Christian won Project Runway -- he cracked me up and I think he's extremely talented. How cool that he designed Kimberly Locke's dress!
