| American Idol eliminates one more singer tonight, and the results are completely up in the air. Depending on who you ask, any of these singers could be leaving us tonight: Ramiele Malubay, Kristy Lee Cook, Chikezie Eze, and Carly Smithson. It should be an exciting night. My personal prediction is that Carly Smithson will be eliminated tonight on American Idol, not because she deserves it, but because I think her fan base is much smaller than what most people assume. With last night's silly "song from the year you were born" theme, I wonder what the group song will be. I'll be here throughout the episode giving live updates as the results pour in. | I love the song that they opened with. Maxine Nightengale's Right Back where we started from is one of my favorite pop songs. I didn't love their version but it could have been worse. |

My problem with the group songs is almsot never the song choice. It's the sing-songy, high school musical arrangement and presentation.

I agree that it had the C'mon get happy vibe going for it. What I don't get is how Chikezie is in the bottom 3 and the chick that RAPED the police is SAFE!!!!

Wow, if Syesha can deliver a strong vocal praised by the critics and still be in the bottom 3, she is totally screwed.

Shyesha is tonights Carly. She won't be leaving, Cheezy is. But interesting to see which will loose tonight, Ramieles teenage/oriental fanbase vs. Cooks patriotic votes. Im quessing the first.

Not easy to get at all it's the 2 best singers of the season in the bottom 3! And the mediocre singers are coasting through. I would pull for the San Diego girl except that A. she already had a HUGE record deal and lost it and B. she's not really from SD (but who really is?). Brooke is probably the worst of them and it's a WEAK group this season.
