Just to defend my boy Archuleta, I can understand thinking that his best performances have been slow songs. But why don't you say the same about Brooke White? She attempted to speed it up last week and bombed miserably, making her just as one note as some of the other performers.

Michael sang a very popular song straight to the original arrangement and did very well. The issue with David Cook is that he seems to be getting more credit for originality than he deserves, as he is essentially covering an unknown cover of an original song. I am not a David Arch fan at all, but I thought he did okay last night, at least I did not want to vomit. Carly will be the first favorite to go home (in a few weeks). Seyesha and Michael will be putting a lot of pressure on all of the favorites (except Cook and Arch) in the coming weeks. I think the three best ones are Michael, Seyesha and David C. CHickezee is charismatic and funny and I him as a successful sit-com actor rather than an American Idol.

David Cook is by far the best idol contestant and the one to beat. His performance was awesome and although Michael Johns' was also good, I don't think he made the song his own.

Ramiele needs to go, but probably has the Filipino voters dialing til their fingers bleed, just like Jasmine Trias. She's the TRUE musical wallpaper, not KLC, who's at least mildly interesting.

purpleodd: I have nothing against KLC personally -- I don't know her personally -- her little 'get to know her' videos make her seem llike a sweet girl. It is just my personal music preferences -- I don't like her performance style, I don't like her song choices and the arrangements she chooses to do, I just don't like listening to her sing or watching her perform.

OSCAR DAHL need to hear Michael Johns 'We will rock you' again and again specially the high notes!!. Michael cannot hit the high notes and his voice crack pretty bad specially the ending lyrics of "no time for losers"...the 'FOR" lyric was just plain awful..i think Michael Johns was on the verge of collapsing..lol that's fact and for you people who doubt my comment..go hear it again on YOUTUBE...lol

My top two are Carly and David . Brooke is my third favorite. I think that David Cooks performance was lame just like BuddyD but my top favorite was Carly.

Brooke White sang a faster-paced song in either Top 20 or Top 16 (I think)...the one where she was sitting on the front of the stage with her guitar. But, just with my personal tastes, I'd rather listen to a Carly Simon-folksy type of singer than a cheesy pop balladeer.

Ramiele and David A are so cute and I am so over it. Both babes bore me to tears. This week I realize I actually can stomach KLC more the Ramiele. KLC will be around for a while, she's kind of growing on me like a pimple.

I hope the judges will stop givin props for oringinality to David.C. It is just hurting their pefromances, and because of that AI boards went ballistic about the rippoff threads yesterday. I mean he isn't doing anything else than others, and still he gets props from it. It bugs the hell out of me. Other than that, crowd responce to Michael performance has to be loudest ever, I thought my speakers would break, as they were pushing limits for the song.
