I actually thought Amanda WAS terrible. I just don't get her at all & would never pay $40 to see her sing for 2 hours. Kristy Lee is just out of her league and whoever is doing her arrangements should be punched in the face.

My mojo isn't working this week on predictions. I've picked KL on two successive shows and she hasn't been bounced. I have a hunch that Michael Johns goes, though I think KL and Ramiele deserve it more. Syesha probably saved herself, she had the advantageous last spot and was OK. Amanda is a question mark, she had the dreaded leadoff spot and didn't impress. I think Michael Johns though, because I think any voter base he has at this point is more impressed with someone else.

I think what you said about Archuleta can apply to nearly all the contestants: they're ALL doing the same type of song over and over again. I'm fairly certain Jason Castro, Amanda Overmyer, and David Cook have just sung the same song 5 weeks in a row. Brooke White tried something new and failed at it, so we'll probably go back to her coffee house safety zone next week. The only person who appears to be able to switch it up is Carly, so I dig her for that reason.

Wow! Punched in the face -- that's pretty intense -- but considering my gut reaction everytime I see her perform I guess that could be a little valid -- I do maintain that if she were a better artist -- bad arrangement or not -- I would be able to tolerate her a little better.

Hmm. Everyone who reads this site knows of my complete dislike for KLC's performances. And like you said earlier -- I have no mojo this week because I was heartily disappointed with every performance. But here are my predictions for the bottom 3:
9) Amanda
10) Michael Johns
with KLC going home.
There goes my hope showing again.

I'll have to DVR this tonight. No way I'm listening to reprises of "A Day In The Life", "I Should Have Known Better", "Hide Your Love Away". Once was enough punishment and I need to keep tonight's dinner down. Not to mention a 1 hour show whose length is only for promoting Fox's disgusting shows. Oh and for informing us 50 times that Kelly Pickler is on next week.

Does anyone know next week's theme ?

I just dig Chikezee and David C - at least they are trying new things. I still love Brooke. I am so bored by Ramiele, David A, and Jason's cuteness has worn off.
