If it were based of the performance it self the bottom 3 would be Michael, Brooke, and Amanda, but the bottom 3 will be Kristy, Syesha, and Eze

I hope the bottom three is Eze, Amanda & KLC... then whoever goes makes me happy... on the other hand, as long as Castro and Cook are safe.. I'm beyond satisfied

I agree with Oscar on the second portion of Chik's song, it was actually pretty nice. I can see him getting out some good songs if he has a good producer after the show. I disagree with the Kristy bit, the arrangement wasn't that great, but given what these people have to work with I'm not sure I can put as much fault for the arrangement on her as others. You might say she was "technically OK" but for that matter I would have called them all just OK tonight with exception of a couple that were massively mediocre. I think Brooke flubbed it, Amanda was horrible, and Jason (whom I heard from the Kitchen and didn't get to see his face) was terrible. As I said in another comment, at this point Kristy Lee didn't do worse than a few others tonight, but given that with 16 counting down it is more of a popularity contest than talent (flashback: screaming girls at archuletas crud performance) we know who the bottom three are going to be, until then I'm wardialing my favorites.

I would recommend that people listen to the American Idol contestants while not looking at the screen on a second go. It really changes your perspective of the vocal talents. I also wanted to add, about a previous comment -- I've not hit the Castro wagon yet, I'm not sure why but he just doesn't do as much as say David Cook does for me.

OK enough melodrama. This week was awful. Syesha wins hands-down; hot dress, decent performance. My breakdown:

Horrid:KL Cook, Johns, Ramiele, Castro

Bad: Brooke, Smithson, Chikesie

Passable: Archuleta, D. Cook, Overmeyer

Decent: Syesha

Outstanding: none

The more I hear Castro sing the less I like him, as Simon said close your eyes and listen to the vocal. Weak, inaccurate voice.
I don't get Brooke White - amateur night at the Cafe Blase.
Michael Johns gets more unimpressive every show.
Carly: horrible song choice
D. Cook: amateur night at the corner bar.
I actually was liking the slow part of Chekesie's song, but is he going to turn every song into a hoedown? Weird
KL and Ramiele should fight it out for the trip home.
Overmeyer was OK, but is getting predictable.
Syesha was decent; she needs to learn to make eye contact with the camera.
Archuleta's immaturity will always bug me.

Archie is a young Andy Williams. Sheesh he can make any ballad boring (voice 8 - interpretation 0 - style -1)
