| David Hernandez was, not surprisingly, eliminated from American Idol last night. The past two weeks have been quite a whirlwind for Hernandez, the man from Glendale, Arizona. When the story broke last week that David had spent some time working as a male stripper at a mostly gay cabaret, Hernandez was forever catapulted into infamy. The American Idol conspiracy theorists would like you to believe that Hernandez's elimination last night was no coincidence. I'm pretty sure this is not the case, but I won't rule out the possibility that his stripping past contributed to his lack of votes. Today, David conducted a live conference call with the press. | It makes me laugh a little that mediocre singers get to call press conferences about their awful performance that got them eliminated. We will never hear from David again. Hope he enjoyed his 15 minutes. |

| I really liked David H actually. He had a strong voice and I felt he had some memorable musical moments. |

| I don't know Gina, he was pretty insistent on finding a record deal. Well, replace "insistent" with "desperate." |

| So "Yesterday" is on the new list? During the confessionals, I remember quite a few singers saying that was their favorite song (Ramiele and Castro off the top of my head). It will be interesting to see who gets it. |
