American Idol's Top 12 is about to be reduced to 11.  It's the first single elimination Results Show of the season and, really, I'm not looking forward to it.  These episodes drag on forever, and will especially do so now that FOX and American Idol decided to extend all Results Shows from a half hour to a full hour.  So, to recap, now American Idol will spend an hour doing what could be done in five minutes.  Ech.  After the mildly impressive Beatles Night yesterday, these are the contenders to go home tonight – Kristy Lee Cook, David Hernandez, Syesha Mercado and Ramiele Malubay.  My prediction for the bottom three is this: Kristy Lee Cook, David Hernandez and Syesha Mercado, with Syesha getting the ticket home.  I'll be here throughout the episode to give live updates as the show moves along.

I believe after that group sing, Lennon and McCartney are rolling over in their graves. Yes, the medley was so bad that during it, Paul McCartney died, was buried, then rolled over in his grave.

I'm still a little shocked by how bad that was. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that.

And Ryan said they're doing Lennon/McCartney AGAIN next week? I hope those rumblings about only having 25 songs to choose from was wrong, because if so, the choices are very limited next week.

John, when did Seacrest say that about Lennon/McCartney next week? Also, looks like I nailed the bottom three, if Hernandez is next.

Yeah, you win this round, but if Hernandez goes instead of Syesha, I call this week a tie. I thought after the group sing Seacrest said something about them getting so many calls that they're doing it again next week. Can anyone else watching and reading vouch for what I thought I heard?
