David was great this year. I'm going to miss him. A group card has been started for David... stop by and leave a personal message!

Didn't think KLC (not to be confused with KFC) was getting deep fried. I am not a fan, but from an observational standpoint Kristy is unique in that she is the only country singer in the group and probably the most attractive female. Love it or hate it, country music is very popular and without another country singer to dilute her votes, she will last longer than people think. Not top 5, but she will last longer than all of the girls except Brooke and Carly.

Here is who I think will make the top 5 as of today, listed in their likelihood to make it:

David A.
Brooke
Carly
David C
Michael

Laugh it up, John. I'll be knocking you off your pedestal next week, and that's a guarantee.

Pharmboy: Thank you, that's what I've been saying all along about KLC, and everyone keeps doubting. Pretty white girl only country singer = More success than she deserves. And Oscar, I will gladly eat crow, just as soon as you find some for me.

I think the opposite situation to KLC is Michael Johns and David Cook. I put them both in my top five, but I think this may be a case where two artists with similar appeal/styles could eventually cancel the other out. One of these artists will go out before they should, because they both should make the top five.

Michael seems more talented, but hasn't stole the show since he played The Doors, while Cook has had two very well liked performance recently. The Beatles format definitely favors these two above all others, but it is not like these two have anything to worry about next week anyway.

unbelievable that writing about music you wouldn't know who David Foster is.......42 Grammy nominations, 14 Grammys. He has collaborated on writing songs for some of the industries biggest names. Time for you to do a little internet search......you will no doubt be quite impressed!!!

WEIRD!!! I heard McPhee's ballad interpretation of "SOMETHING" and Ramele's ballad interpretation of "In My Life"....either people just dont think a MALUBAY last name can't be considered star potential BECAUSE I DON'T SEE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO STYLE...heck Ramele's voice imo is a little better than McPhee...so how can McPhee be great and Malubay's BORING??
something must be going on...

I'm surprised Hernandez went home when Kristy Lee Cook gave one of the worst performances ever to air on television. I guess laughably bad lasts longer than slightly forgettable.

Katharine McPhee looked incredible and sang beautifully. Oscar must not have watched Season 5 if he doesn't know who David Foster is, but if he's producing an album for Kat she's joining incredible company (Whitney H., Josh Groban) and it will probably go better than her first.

I'm happy David is out--yes, largely because of the stripper thing an how he never owned up--he probably will now that he's off the show. But also because of his cheesy facial expressions and moves. Too bad he and K.L. couldn't both go, but she'll probably be off next week and the tour group will all be pretty good.
