Ramiele was not boring! It was such a sweet performance! Same with Brooke. I really thought David Cook was a little boring this week.

David was the best male of the night. Simon said it was brilliant. E. R. is not an easy song to sing and he did a fantastic job. Again, showing is versatility, which most are not doing. He changed it up, just like he always does. He has good chance of winning this thing, but regardless he will sell records and his gift of songwriting his awesome.

Hey, Abigail, I love David Cook too. I wish he would have picked a different song. For me, Rigby is an uncoverable song.

Arrgggh! My ears are bleeding! The end of the show was so bad I got up straightened the house and did some laundry, though I thought about sticking my hand in the garbage disposal ala Oscar. The only performances I kind of enjoyed were Chikeze Eze and well -- I can't even recall now -- so that obviously doesn't say much -- I guess Brooke, Carly and the last part of David Cook. How I wish contestants got automatically booted for forgetting lyrics. Unacceptable -- I don't care if you are 12 and annoyingly adorable to the teenie boppers -- totally Mickey Mouse at this stage of the competition. And Kristy Lee gave me the dreaded earworm I so despise. Darn her and that crappy country version!

I didn't get a chance to watch it yet, I'll catch it tomorrow on my DVR. Good recap, Oscar. I'm going to reserve judgment on Archuleta until I see it for myself. From what you wrote, I'm looking forward to Carly and Michael. Try as you may, sir, you will never get me to like Brooke White. We'll have to come up with some sort of prize for you if you can change my mind. A CD of all David Archuleta songs, perhaps?

HA! The Golden Boy screwed up, sooooooooooo badly. You could literally hear the producers clawing their eyes out because their pick just effed himself. Seriously, he was getting a bye because of Imagine, but that was probably the single worst performance of the entire season. My Archuleta Haters Club just got a whole lot bigger. Aside from that

After making it by the skin of his teeth, Chickezee put on the best performance of the night and one of the best of the season. I thought Brooke, Michael and Carly were solid as well. David A basically did a cover of a Stevie Wonder cover of a Beatles song, and did an awful job. I thought for sure he would do Yesterday, I WIll or another one of Paul's "silly love songs. The junior high masses will keep him in, but his horse to beat mantra is fading. I think his commercial appeal will be exclusively to 10-14 yr old girls.

David Cook is over-rated, basically a poor man's Goo Goo Dolls (not a compliment). and while I appreciate Carly's talent she is not my cup of tea but these two will go far.

I think Brooke is the one to beat and that she and Michael easily have the best legitimate commercial possibilities post Idol.

Don't cave on the Brooke White hate, Gina! We must keep our bond strong. Archuleta stumbled, but the venom that some people are bringing is a bit frightening and uncalled for.
