OMG!!! Now I can't wait to watch the episode!!! Cook with Eleanor Rigby, White with Let It Be, and of course Castro ,who's always a pleasure to watch, with If I Fell.... PLUS Archuleta masively forgetting the words (BTW that totally goes to my iPod...) Cant' wait!! Ah! And thanks of course for the live thoughts, Oscar!

I really did not enjoy anyone's version of these songs. I mean it's the Beatles, how can you not be familiar with these songs? This is the first year that I do not like anyone at all. Granted the people I like (Fantasia as the exception)do not win, but at least there could be someone I could pull for. I guess maybe it's just me, but I'm not looking forward to the rest of this season.

Wow some surprises here! Amanda was great; Chikesie surprising; Archuleta gawd awful.

Awful: Archuleta, Ramiele, Jason,

Ungood: David Cook,
Passable: Brooke, Hernandez, KL Cook
Good Enough: Johns, Syesha
Homerun: Chikesie (?), Amanda, Carly

Jazzy, you thought Kristy Lee was passable. That was one of the worst Idol performances I've ever seen.

To my utter amazement I think the best performance of the night was Amanda. Chikesie's I still can't wrap my brain around; I liked it, but his dancing is frenetic. Carly was solid.

The judges were way too easy on Archuleta, horrible performance and messing up the words is inexcusable. If I Fell by Castro was bad, he didn't even come close to the high notes and did an awkward key change midsong when he realized it. Ramiele should be bounced, she is in over her head.

I don't know why the judge's liked D. Cook's Eleanor Rigby, that arrangement didn't work. Brooke's Let It Be was nothing and where were the high notes?

I though Hernandez' 17 was OK, it's not a deep song; a tad karaoke I admit. Nor did I hate KL Cook's 8 Days a Week as much as everyone else; I liked the breakneck speed, but thought a pared down arrangement with fiddle & banjo would have worked better. Syesha & Johns were good enough to get through, that's all.

yeah Oscar, I would give KL a pass. 8 Days A Week works as a breakneck country song for me, though her vocal was nothing remarkable. I give her props for doing something interesting; to me Castro, Ramiele, Archuleta and D. Cook were worse.

I not predicting yet, but I'd send Ramiele home, she has a pleasant voice but no singing talent.

Based on the worst performance, Archuleta should go. I knew as soon as I heard Castro's song choice that he didn't have the range - oooh that was bad.
