I am VERY afraid -- because I ADORE the Beatles. I don't care what any of the contestants sing as long as I don't hear a horrible version of a song I love that will most likely give me an earworm for a few days. Hate it when I have a bad song -- or worse -- a bad rendition of a great song running around in my head. SICK! Why is that crazynick kid touting a dating site at a TV fanatic site? Annoying.

From what I've heard, they've referred to the "Lennon McCartney Songbook". I take this to mean only songs with that byline. If I'm correct, this excludes Harrison's songs also, so no Something, Taxman, Here Comes the Sun, etc.

I really loved Kelly Clarkson jamming out with Joe Perry doing Sgt. Pepper on last year's finale. Hopefully if someone does do that song -- and it's possible since it's been on the show before and possibly cleared -- they can rock out just as much. I really want the 12 to do more than balladize, please!

At first I heard they had 180 songs to choose from. Then it became only the EARLY songs, now it's supposedly down to a selection of 25 tunes. That's certainly limiting! I wish the producers would force David A. to sing a rocker -- instead it'll be another syrupy ballad like "Let it Be" or "In My Life".
