Blackbird is too obvious and not exciting enough for Kristy Lee. She needs a homerun to stay around and that song ain't it. Actually, I think I've Just Seen A Face is a good choice for her or even Across The Universe.

Maybe have Hernandez do Drive My Car or All My Loving

David Cook: Back in the USSR or Get Back.

According to the EW Idol site, they only had 25 Beatle songs to choose from. That's extremely limiting. I see an Amanda train-wreck coming.

My roommate works for SONY MUSIC and she said that EMI Records controls the sound recordings for the Beatles on behalf of Capitol Records Inc. The publishing side of the Beatles' catalog is owned by Sony Music/ ATV Publishing, a venture between Sony Music and Michael Jackson. They got to limit the number of songs that the Idol contestants go to choose from. If not the theme couldn't be done at all. DRAMA!! ooooo can't wait tonight!

I absolutely disagree with the list of song choices.

I would pick

Kristy Lee Cook singing Hey Jude with some country twang.

Jason Castro: Eleanor Rigby

David Cook: Twist and Shout

David A: Eight days a week (if he is smart, he will pick something upbeat, otherwise he might pick yesterday, let it be or michelle)

Michael Johns: I wanna hold your hand.

Amanda Overmyer: Hard Days night

David Hernandez: I saw her standing there

Ramiele: Yesterday

Chikezie: Cant buy me love

Carly: Norwegian wood (switching it up.... I once had a boy.... )

Syesha: Let it be

Brooke White: Lady Madonna

I think Kristy Lee Cook should sing In my Life!!!!! I think it's the only way she can be saved lol . I think it'll suit her quite well. Wow the Beatles, that will be an interesting week ...

"Twist and Shout" is not a Lennon/McCartney song, it is a cover of an older song - Isley Brothers I think.
