American Idol 7: Danny Noriega's Explicit MySpace Video

Danny Noriega was booted off American Idol last night. It wasn't a big surprise. His sassy and flamboyant performances were not big hits with the audience or the judges, though the on line community did turn little Danny into a somewhat buzz worthy persona. Whether you liked Danny or not, he was a big personality and he brought a lot of Danny-ness to the stage every time he was on TV. Some thought that Danny would become this season's Sanjaya Malakar, but unfortunately for Danny, there was someone else this season who stood to take the teenage female vote and his name was David Archuleta. Even though Danny is now gone from the Idol competition, he lives on in infamy. Earlier this week, TMZ got a hold of a MySpace video recorded by Danny in high school. It's a Christmas video, but Danny shows little holiday cheer.

Who among us can honestly say we haven't made a webcam video suggesting Santa should befoul our mothers? Either way, this kid is awesome.

lol wow now I am sad this guy got voted off. that is just awesome that he did that, and how could they hold that against him but let David Hernandez stay on the show? it's not very consistent

I thought Danny was actually pretty funny in recent episodes. I wanted him gone, just because I don't think he's talented, but he would have made the season more entertaining. How funny was he during "Tainted Love" - he thought he was so sexy. Cracks me up.

I think Danny is a great singer, the songs that he sang these past weeks just didn't show his range, but man when he sand Proud Mary, I was like what! This boy can sing, this will not be the last we hear of him, oh trust!

I love love loved Danny and am so bummed he's off the show. I definitely agree that most of America is pretty homophobic. Danny is an inspiration because he is proud of who he is, but that also makes him a target, and I expect that this video was a response to harrassers.

I'm having a hard time answering Oscar's poll. SHOULD he have made top 12? No. Did I WANT him to for my own amusement and enjoyment? Yup.
