Love Carmen McRae! I do wish they would do a true jazz night -- so many fantastic songs. Chikeze could handle some Kevin Mahogany -- maybe 'Don't Let Me Be Lonley Tonight' he has the right kind of voice. However -- while some of the contestants could definitely do some cool stuff with jazz standards -- what the heck would Amanda sing? As rough as her voice is I just don't think she could handle it musically -- Nina Simone or Cassandra Wilson she will never - ever be. Plus we'd probably end up with a Rod Stewart medley again -- which as entertaining as I found his album -- it just doesn't satisfy my jazz ear.

I really didn't think Noriega would get voted off. I am very glad about it though. I think chikeze is a better singer. Noriega was a mess! He cant dance although he thinks he can, its painful to watch. He just went a little overboard w/ the gay thing. I have absolutely nothing against gays, just people that act like freakshows! You are not a 16 yr old girl dude!

AIAddict, I'm guessing that only you and I of the people on this site have a Kevin Mahogany CD. I find the Rod Stewart standards albums dreadful though.

Could Amanda handle Blues In The Night ??

Kady who? I can't believe I haveto listen that country chick for a month or so. Damn you America. With the right song, at least Asiah could sing.

Now, I can't figure who I dislike more country chick or rocker chick. Does she have to look so bored? It's annoying and her screeching is getting way old. Enough already America. STOP VOTING FOR HER!

I'll miss you Danny. Oh Danny - if you had only chosen better songs. Oh well.

Blues In The Night? Too melodic -- done well there is a sort of a melancholy train quality to the tune. And -- well -- maybe the Iggy Pop version of One For My Baby -- hahaha!

I'm not sure if I'd cry homophobia for Danny. I'd like to think it's more due to the fact that all his performances were terrible. The only use Luke Menard had was that he looked a little bit like Bruce Campbell, thus seeing him made me want to watch awesome Bruce Campbell movies. Or Brisco County Jr.

danny... i never really liked him that much. he reminds me of that sinjiya or wat ever his name was with the weird hair dos from last season. now i actually like Kady but she just seemed boring to me once she got on stage, now when she did the britney imitation, yeah that was hilarious but her singing... lets just say i cant see her face on a cd and actually listening to her songs on the radio
