American Idol 7: Top 16 Live Results

Enjoy tonight's results show, American Idol fans. Seriously, in a couple weeks you'll look back on tonight with fond memories. Starting next week, American Idol's Results Shows will go from sending four singers home to only sending one. From the Top 12 on, it's one at a time. One elimination in one hour. That means an incredible amount of filler, lots of guest performers you don't care about, and group songs we can all do without. Comparatively, tonight will be a breeze. I figure that the four eliminated singers will come from this large pool: Chikezie Eze, Luke Menard, David Hernandez, Danny Noriega, Kady Malloy, Asiah Epperson, Kristy Lee Cook and Amanda Overmyer. That's right – half of the top 16 appear to be in danger of elimination. It's wide open. I'll be here throughout the hour, giving live updates as Ryan Seacrest ruthlessly, without mercy, kicks four singers to the curb.

Rumour is that Shyesha in going. My other predictions are Kristy Lee Coo, Chikezie Eze and Luke Menard although I would like to see Danny N. in his place.

After watching the episods again, I'm hoping Hernandez, Chikezie, Amanda & Kady leave the show... being Amanda and Chikezie the ones I like the least... of course that's not going to happen', cuz what I want never does... Honestly.. I think it'll be Hernandez, Luke Menard, Kady and some other girl... between the other three Oscar says.. probably Asia'h.. but I hope not... anyway, I'm still pissed that mini-Carrie left... I really liked Alaina... maybe cuz she looks like my fav singer, but who knows... I'll be updating this every minute, cuz I don't get to download it til later an here in Latinamerica we get it a week later.. so thanks for writing it live Oscar!

I see David Hernandez going home tonight. It was like last year with Antonella they disquallify the contestant by saying you had the lowest votes but in all reality you did'nt and they are masking your dq. Idk thats just my thought

So much for those rumors. My three favorites in the whole competition, David Cook, Jason Castro and Brooe White, are safe, so I don't much care now. Well, I would love Danny to stay, but that's it. During Kady's performance, I so wanted her to stop the band and say "It's Britney, !@#!@," then go into a Spears medley. That would have been the greatst thing ever.

I wouldnt be suprised if that was the first three guys were the top three in votes in that order.

Me neither, Matthew. It seems about right. And, it would make me happy if Archuleta didn't receive the most votes.
