Sorry, Editor, I'm convinced Syesha is the same skinny black female with the thin voice who sings diva songs and gets kicked off early that we see every frikkin' year. Asia'h is hardly perfect and spells her name stupid, but she has a different tone to her voice that while clearly you don't like it, helps her stand out in the field of "pretty black girls singing Whitney." I'm calling Syesha as the "surprise" early boot that everyone will lament before promptly forget she ever existed.

And to comment to BuddyD, I agree. It's such a reversal from every other year -- I could do without the mass majority of these chicks while the guys keep bringing it. I do really like Carly, though.

I agree Asiah has a different tone, the problem is for the last two weeks, she's been running away from what makes her unique and trying to fit into the "skinny black girl with a big voice" box. Though Asiah was my original pick, and Syesha was my pick after week 1, I'll agree that neither will actually make the top 5.

Any votes Kristy Lee gets are purely for her great looks. She hasn't sung well at all so far. I think she should go home, but don't think she will. Also, Asia'h or Kady should go.
