I get that, and I was into David Cook's arrangement last night, but this one just didn't do it for me. I agree that when they do straight covers it gets a little karaoke...but for some reason that version just irked me!

"If there's any justice, Luke Menard, Chikezie Eze, Kady Malloy and Asiah Epperson will be saying goodbye." Agreed... except that I hope it's Amanda instead of Asia'h.... but that's just me.. go Jason and Cook!

If Asiah miraculously survives, here's my advice: go the Alicia Keys route and abandon these delusions of being a big-voiced diva, cuz it ain't happening.

Id almost appalaude Idol if they would let the Idols provide their own songs and arraingements in the week to start the TOP 12. I think that would be a great determination to those who could write their own songs.

I am gouging my eardrums out !!!

A nightmare lived! Horrible formances of awful songs. Everything that made the 80s suck, only done worse. Whitney, Collins, Queen. The only good performance was by Brooke who thankfully didn't smile thru Battlefield; I don't really like her but thought that was pretty good. I've already grown tired of Amanda - a one-act play.

This was the worst episode of this show I've ever seen; the pits - so far - of the worst season. I thought the talent was weak last year, but most weeks had at least one performance I could dig, even an occassional homerun like LaKisha's This Ain't A Love Song. This year so far hasn't had a single exceptional performance. This show was gawd awful.

I think Asia'h and Kristy Lee have sung their last.

The females SO do not impress me this season. I don't even bother watching. I watch the guys & elimination night. Fortunately, this won't be a problem for me anymore.

Awesome, I'm getting to be as hated as Oscar! He'll be so jealous when he reads that. But seriously, have you watched the performances just the last three weeks, and you still say Asiah is better than Syesha? No way, and this is coming from a guy who predicted Asiah would win the whole thing after the Top 24 was announced. Amanda should go, but I think my reasoning is sound. Amanda has her own solid voting base, while Asiah and Syesha are pretty similar in terms of voice and demographics. They'll split votes, but most of them will go to Syesha, leaving Asiah in trouble.

I agree with you, Gina. The women bore me to tears. The only exception is Carly Smithson.
